Cassio Casseb Lima (CCL) has one son and two daughters namely Eduardo Casseb Oliveira (born in April 12 th 1980 ), Cassia Casseb Oliveira (born in December 12 th 1976 ) and Elaine Casseb Oliveira (born in April 28 th 1972 ). Intelligence on these names is being made in order to localize any company, money transfers/donation, or any occurrence that might be linked to the goal of the current case.

According to CCL credit card Visa Executivo VIP number 4032377014970900 last bill, it was verified an expense (restaurant) in Italy dated from February 5 th 2004 .

Background

We are performing a background of Cassio Casseb Lima (CCL) activities before taking his actual position at Bank of Brazil in order to establish contacts and relationships. It was verified through press information that CCL would have been TI advisor, as well as Solpart's. After 2000-2001 CCL starts to render services to companies as Inepar, Pension Funds, Sao Paulo City Hall , etc mostly through companies in which he would have been partner from Andrea Calabi. A company namely Traliz was identified, but it was still not possible to obtain its registers and copies of amendment of contracts (already requested). Such documentation shall open us names and entities that could link CCL and TI, thereafter we intend to verify the kind of services provided in order to localize possible corruption involving Pension Funds, TI and involved individuals.

CCL is graduate in Engineering at the Escola Politecnica of Sao Paulo, from where was taken to his first job by invitation of Henrique Meirelles – who is nowadays the President for Central Bank in Brazil – at Bank Boston in 1976. Bank Boston was also the entity who project Henrique Meirelles into his professional career. Henrique Meirelles was one of main prominent names which indicated CCL to his actual position at Bank of Brazil.

At Bank Boston, CCL worked for 3 (three) years in the area of Leasing and Credits. In 1979 he went to French & Brazilian Bank (Credit Lyonnais ) where he worked for 9 (nine) years: first as Account Officer, latter as Financial Director for Brazil and Commercial Director for the Northwest Region.

After Credit Lyonnais his next step is into Mantrust Bank SRL – a joint-venture of Manufacturers Hannover and local professionals – where he stays for 4 (four) years as Financial Vice President and Executive Vice President, through the invitation of Joao Sayad and his two partners (SRL shareholders were at the time Henri Philippe Reichstul – ex CEO for Petrobras, Francisco Luna and Joao Sayad) in 1990. Reichstul and Sayad were also prominent names which indicated CCL to his actual position at Bank of Brazil.

In 1992 CCL coordinated the industrial restructuring of Vila Romana Group. And in 1993 he moved to Citibank in the position of Financial Vice President (Treasurer) and responsible for the areas of Products and Derivative's Development. At Citibank he was responsible for all treasurer operations.

CCL was also member of the Board of ANDIMA – National Association of the Entities of the Financial Market – and of IBCB – Brazilian Institution of Bank Science.

In 1997 CCL assumed the Presidency of Credicard S.A. At this period the company has its monopoly of cards' emission finished and the cards passed being worldwide. CCL restructured the company and granted also experience at the financial retail.

In May 1999 he was hired by the Steinbruchs in order to help in the Groups restructuring and industrial strategy. The Group comprehended companies such as Vicunha Textil, Fibra Dupont, Fibrasil, Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN), Vale do Rio Doce, Maxitel and Fibra Bank. CCL was member of the Board of Management at Vicunha, Fibra Bank and Solpart (BrT).

CCL appears as a Solpart shareholder according data base from April 4 th 2002 (copy of amendment of contract already requested). – Must confirm information of CCL being TI advisor in Brazil and check dates.

In the end of 2001 CCL left the Steinbruchs Group and started his own consulting office in a partnership with Andrea Calabi - ex President of Bank of Brazil and BNDES, ex Secretary of Planning of the State of Sao Paulo – namely Traliz. It is worth to remind that at this moment CF is the CEO for TI in Brazil and has a good relationship with Andrea Calabi.

It is told that they would have rendered services to TI through this (or some other – which is being under research) company. This issue is current object of investigation.

It is known that Traliz has done the plan for restructuring Inepar . Such project – where the contractors were some Pension Funds – gave CCL a good reputation and a good relationship with prominent names from PT Political Party, which nowadays is at the government of Brazil .

Inepar belongs to Atilano de Oms Sobrinho and its minority shareholders are some pension funds, BNDES Par and Dynamo. The company passed through a difficult situation until 1999 – 2000. In 2001 it began to retakes its position through agreements at the electrical and petroleum sector. Therein orders for towers and transmission lines increased. According market information, Inepar and Andrade Gutierrez enclosed an agreement with Nokia in order to implement the GSM network for Telemar in Rio de Janeiro , Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo. At this period it is told that the company would be negotiating an agreement with TIM to render its services.

In 2002 CCL did a serial studies for the Sao Paulo's City Hall, hired by Joao Sayad – then Municipal Secretary for Finances of Sao Paulo. One of the most recent studies done by CCL concerns the management of funds and application of Municipal Treasure assets, its objective was to identify the best alternative to return of capital for the City's cash as well as identify the operations risks.

CCL would also have informally provided services to Sao Paulo 's City Hall and realized works for Previ – the Social Welfare Fund from the Bank of Brazil employee.

It is also told that he would have been advisor from TI in Brazil , the source is the Brazilian Press from January 20 th 2003 . Such information is object of investigation.

In January 2003 CCL assumes the position of President for the Bank of Brasil. According to the laws in Brazil , he shall not be part of any company while in such position.

All the above mentioned names and companies, especially Traliz, are being investigated in order to verify any connection with TI, TIM, NN or any other link that might be found in relevance for the project.
